Week 9:  Read:  The Stations in Path to Allah.  Read the Qualities: Sami’BasirHakam, plus Mannan and  Malik. Add Sami’, Basir, and Hakam to the 26 Qualities from last week.   Now repeat all 29 Qualities in order several times a day until you can repeat all 29 easily.  Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim, Ya Malik, Ya Quddus, Ya Salam, Ya Mu’min, Ya Muhaimin, Ya Aziz, Ya Jabbar, Ya Mutakabbir, Ya Khaliq, Ya Bari, Ya Musawwir, Ya Ghaffar, Ya Qahhar, Ya Wahhab, Ya Razzaq, Ya Fattah, Ya ‘Alim, Ya Qabid, Ya Basit, Ya Khafid, Ya Rafi’, Ya Mu’izz, Ya Mudhill, Ya Sami’, Ya Basir, Ya Hakam.

Write: The second station of the heart, At-Taslim .  Sit in reflection after writing it.

New Practice: Continue to do Wudu’ and Ghusl regularly.  Do wudu’ after getting up in the morning.  Stay in wudu throughout the day.

Recite: 100 repetitions of each of the new Qualities.  Sit in Remembrance for 20 minutes daily.  Continue to memorize the Fatiha in Arabic.  It is 7 lines long.  Memorize the first through the fifth lines: 1. Bismi-llahi-r-rahmani-r-rahim – In the Name of Allah, the Universally Merciful, the Singularly Compassionate. 2. Al-Hamdu-li-llahi rabbi-l-’alamin – Praise be to Allah, Lord of all the Worlds. 3. ‘Ar-Rahmani-r-Rahim – the Universally Merciful, the Singularly Compasionate. 4. Maliki Yowmi-d-din – Master of the Day of Judgment. 5. ‘Iyyaka na’budu wa ‘iyyaka nasta’in. – You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.

Week 10:  Read:  The Stations in He Who Knows Himself.  Read the Qualities: ‘AdlLatif, and Khabir plus Mawla and Mubin. Add ‘Adl, Latif, and Khabir to the 29 Qualities from last week.   Now repeat all 32 Qualities in order several times a day until you can repeat all 32 easily.  Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim, Ya Malik, Ya Quddus, Ya Salam, Ya Mu’min, Ya Muhaimin, Ya Aziz, Ya Jabbar, Ya Mutakabbir, Ya Khaliq, Ya Bari, Ya Musawwir, Ya Ghaffar, Ya Qahhar, Ya Wahhab, Ya Razzaq, Ya Fattah, Ya ‘Alim, Ya Qabid, Ya Basit, Ya Khafid, Ya Rafi’, Ya Mu’izz, Ya Mudhill, Ya Sami’, Ya Basir, Ya Hakam, Ya ‘Adl, Ya Latif, Ya Khabir.  You are now 1/3 of the way to memorizing all 99 Qualities.

Write: The third station of the heart, Al-Adab .  Sit in reflection after writing it.

New Practice: Continue to do Wudu’ and Ghusl regularly.  Do wudu’ after getting up in the morning.  Stay in wudu throughout the day.  Doing wudu’ and memorizing the Fatiha are preparing you to do Salat, which is a practice you will learn later.

Week 11:  Read:  The Du’a with the 99 Qualities and Du’a from the 6th Door.  Listen to the audio file of the Du’a from the 6th Door. Read the Qualities: Halim, ‘Azhim and Ghafur plus Muhit and Mu’ti. Add Halim, ‘Azhim and Ghafur to the 32 Qualities from last week.   Now repeat all 35 Qualities in order several times a day until you can repeat all 35 easily.  Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim, Ya Malik, Ya Quddus, Ya Salam, Ya Mu’min, Ya Muhaimin, Ya Aziz, Ya Jabbar, Ya Mutakabbir, Ya Khaliq, Ya Bari, Ya Musawwir, Ya Ghaffar, Ya Qahhar, Ya Wahhab, Ya Razzaq, Ya Fattah, Ya ‘Alim, Ya Qabid, Ya Basit, Ya Khafid, Ya Rafi’, Ya Mu’izz, Ya Mudhill, Ya Sami’, Ya Basir, Ya Hakam, Ya ‘Adl, Ya Latif, Ya Khabir, Ya Halim, Ya ‘Azhim, Ya Ghafur.

Write: The fourth station of the heart, Al-Khawf: Fear of God.  Sit in reflection after writing it.

New Practice: Continue to do Wudu’ and Ghusl regularly.  Do wudu’ after getting up in the morning.  Stay in wudu’ throughout the day.  Sidi recommends that you recite the Du’a with the Qualities and the Du’a from the 6th Door every Thursday and Sunday evening (anytime after maghrib until fajr).  Begin to recite these Du’a.  There are audio recordings to help you.  You can listen and try to recite along with the recording if that helps.  There is also a community call that you can join in.  I don’t know how long this service will be offered.

Sirata-l-ladhina ‘an’amta ‘alayhim ghayri-l-maghdubi ‘alayhim wa la-d-daaallin.  – The way of those whom You have blessed, not the way of those on whom is Your anger, nor those who are astray.  You have now completed memorizing the Fatiha.  I say the Fatiha over food as I am preparing it or before eating it.  Make it a habit to say the Fatiha before making decisions to help make them from your inner wisdom rather than from your ego.  This is probably the prayer you will use more than any other.  Use it daily so you get very comfortable with it.

You can practice reciting the Fatiha along with Fethi Benhalim.

Week 12:  Read:  Give to Take  and How to Become the Change You Want to See in the World.   Read the Qualities: Shakur, ‘Aliy, Kabir (Most Great) and Musta’an and Mutakallim. Add Shakur, ‘Aliy and Kabir to the 35 Qualities from last week.   Now repeat all 38 Qualities in order several times a day until you can repeat all 38 easily.  Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim, Ya Malik, Ya Quddus, Ya Salam, Ya Mu’min, Ya Muhaimin, Ya Aziz, Ya Jabbar, Ya Mutakabbir, Ya Khaliq, Ya Bari, Ya Musawwir, Ya Ghaffar, Ya Qahhar, Ya Wahhab, Ya Razzaq, Ya Fattah, Ya ‘Alim, Ya Qabid, Ya Basit, Ya Khafid, Ya Rafi’, Ya Mu’izz, Ya Mudhill, Ya Sami’, Ya Basir, Ya Hakam, Ya ‘Adl, Ya Latif, Ya Khabir, Ya Halim, Ya ‘Azhim, Ya Ghafur, Ya Shakur, Ya ‘Aliy, Ya Kabir.

Write: The fifth station of the heart, As-Sidq: The Station of Righteousness.  Sit in reflection after writing it.

New Practice: Continue to do Wudu and Ghusl regularly.  Do wudu after getting up in the morning.  Stay in wudu throughout the day.  We are going to add reciting the wird as part of your daily practice.  Please re-read Al-Wird and begin to recite it daily.  It takes about 15 minutes.  It is best if you look at the name Allah in Arabic while reciting it.  You can print a copy of this this picture from Sufi Healing Methods.
