Hypnosis for Bad Habits

I have a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy (DOC).  I helped hundreds of clients make changes in their lives to stop smoking, lose weight, reduce pain, etc.  Even though hypnosis has nothing to do with the Sufi path, I am offering a few free guided meditations to help with these issues.  Hypnosis works with the subconscious mind, not the heart.  It does not eliminate the root cause of the bad habit.  That would be where the healing work is much more powerful.  But it can help you make outside changes that will make your life a little easier.

You subconscious mind is your slave.  It only does what you instruct it to do.  How you give it your instructions is by what you choose to focus on.  If you (like most people) focus on what you don’t want: what scares you, what makes you mad, what makes you sad, then your subconscious will produce more ideas and more actions that will attract more of what you don’t what.  What I try to do in these sessions is get you to move your focus to what you do what. I want you to imagine you ideal self.  What you look like, dress like, feel like, sound like, when you are coming from your ideal self.  Focus on what you want with all five of your senses.  Then you subconscious mind will produce more thoughts and actions that will attract more of those things into your life.

 

How to use these trances, or guided meditations: Listen at a time and place where you can close your eyes and focus inward without outside distractions.  You can  sit or lie down, which ever you choose.  If you notice during the sessions that your mind has wandered, that’s okay, just bring your focus back to where we are in the session.  Listen everyday for at least 21 days in a row without missing a day.  This begins to make a new neural pathway in your brain. If you listen everyday for 66 days in a row, then you’ll have a super highway where your thoughts will just go there automatically.  After the 66 days, you can listen 2-3 times a week if you still need support.  Research has also shown that you need to do the new behavior for about a year and a half before it becomes permanent.
