Al-Warith
The Inheritor
Exalted and Glorious
And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. (15:23)
This name is an attribute of Allah which means the Inheritor. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Allah is called so because all things proceed from Him and shall return into His hand.
He who recites this sacred name of Allah, becomes immune from the hardships and worries of this world and the Hereafter.
Al-Warith, the Inheritor is He Who is the continuing Subsister Who inherits all the characteristics of the Messenger of Allah, may prayers and peace be upon him, after he is annihilated from the created world. He is the One Who inherits the earth and what it has. So know that if you are of those who have entered the Kingdom, then without doubt one day you will reach the Inheritor, praised is He.
Allah Allah Allah

AL-WARITH
Allah is the ultimate Inheritor, to whom everything is left after its temporal possessors are gone. It is He who exists after all existence disappears; it is He to whom all existence returns. It is He who will ask:
To whom belongs the kingdom this day?
And it is He who will answer:
To Allah, the One, the Ever-Dominating One (Surah Mu’minun 16)
The heedless are unaware that what they posses, including themselves, is only lent to them. Those who are ungrateful for the infinite bounties of Allah, the Most Generous One, are arrogant, thinking that what they have is theirs. They use it for their own pleasure. When they disappear, they and all else return to Allah the Everlasting One, who is before the before and after the after, who is the only Owner, the Inheritor of all. Then they will be asked:
To whom belongs the kingdom this day?
They know that they are but temporal keepers of what is in their hands. They are like honored tellers in Allah’s bank, who do not follow the desires of their flesh nor the commands of their egos, but do what Allah wills for His sake and for His pleasure. In doing so, they become one with Allah, and in that way become eternal and everlasting.
‘Abd al-Warith is the servant who attains the secret of the name the Inheritor and enters the state of baqa’ bi-Llah, “everlastingness with Allah,” thus receiving his share of divine wisdom and of the station of the prophets, ‘Abd a;-Warith is the inheritor of the prophets in knowledge, wisdom, and guidance.
Couples who are having difficulty producing a child may conceive if they recite together as often as they can Rabbiy la tadharni fardan wa anta khayr ul-warithin (“My Lord, do not leave me without offspring, though you are the best of inheritors” Surah Anbiya’ 89)
Someone who cannot decide among various alternatives may find the right choice by reciting ya Warith 1000 times between sunset and night prayers.
