Al-Matin
The Firm
Exalted and Glorious
Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. (51:58)
This name, the Firm is one of the Names of Allah, the Eternal and Everlasting, which clearly indicates that He is the Almighty Being Who controls the entire universe and all creation without effort. Allah is All-Powerful, and He Alone has the power to provide food and all means of livelihood for all creatures. He who has difficulties, if he repeats this name, his troubles will disappear if Allah, Most High, wills.
Al-Matin is the One who is Firm. The All-Powerful Who does not dispute about anything that He wishes to realize of His wisdom, nor does He need any army or any other help to support Him in carrying out what He desires to do. So cut off any returning to anyone else but Him; for there is no other Helper for you than Him.
Allah Allah Allah

AL-MATIN
Allah is perfect in His strength and in His firmness.
The attribute of al-Qawi pertains to the perfection of His power, while the attribute of al-Matin is the vehemence – the all-pervasive action – of this strength. None can be saved from this strength; no force can oppose it. Nothing causes difficulty for it, nothing can weaken it, nor does that strength need any aid.
Allah has compassion and He has punishment. When He extends His compassion to His beloved servants, none can prevent this beneficence from reaching its destination, nor can any conceivable power prevent His vengeance, anger, and punishment from hitting its target. The servant should hope for all good and beauty to come from Allah, and should fear only Allah’s punishment. Thus all other fears disappear from the hearts of servants who are attached to their Lord.
‘Abd al-Matin is the servant to whom the mystery of the attribute of the all-pervasive strength of Allah is given. That strength makes him hold to his religion with such strength and patience that nothing can tempt him away from it, no difficulty will tire him, and nothing can separate him from the Truth. In defense of the Truth, no one can frighten him or silence him. His effect is upon everything, and none other than Allah can affect him.
If a believer realizes that he himself is a tyrant and is negative, and wishes to get rid of his bad character, making a habit of reciting this Name 500 times every day may assist him to become a better person.
If a mother is short of milk to suckle her baby, when she drinks from a cup upon which ya Matin is written, her milk may increase.
