This remedy uses a tree resin from Sri Lanka which is burned and the resultant smoke clears the shayateen in jinn and humans from whole areas, specific places like homes, buildings, and from within people themselves. This is a very ancient remedy that is reputed to have been shown to Adam to be used for these purposes.

The chunks and powder of this formula are burned on an easily ignited piece of charcoal or wood in a fireproof container, like an old frying pan.  The shayateen in humans and jinn are inflicted with harm from the smoke until they repent and return to Allah or choke to death.  The formula is available from Sufi Gifts.  If you need to purchase it please call the gift shop at 707-965-0700 x 22.

To rid an area or building or person of every shaytan:

1. Do wudu and pray 2 rakat of prayer before beginning.
2. Recite ayat ul kursi (surah 2, ayat 255) 3 times
3. Ignite the round flat charcoal in the center with matches.
4. When the charcoal is burning, place several grams of this formula in the center and blow on it to start it smoking.
5. To clear an area or building, walk around brushing the smoke everywhere while reciting ayat ul kursi – depending on the situation (size and intensity), you may need to do this for 30 minutes (eg. for a whole house) but do not burn more than 5 grams of the remedy (1/2 the bottle).
6. For clearing a person, have them sit near the smoke or brush the smoke towards them while reciting ayat ul kursi for 15 minutes.
7. For best results Sidi recommends using the formula on 3 consecutive days.
8. If you are seeing clients Sidi recommends you use the formula weekly.
9. For special situations where deep individual clearing is needed, Sidi recommends using the formula together with the Ayat of Healing remedy where one drinks and washes with the sacred ink water.
