The Prophet (ﷺ) stated: “To those who are merciful, the Infinitely Merciful God is merciful. [So] be merciful to whomever [and whatever] is on the earth, then whoever is in heaven will be merciful to you” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi; this particular hadith is considered to be authentic.) Al-Rahimuna yarhamuhumu r-Rahman. Irhamu man fi l-‘ard, yarhamuhum man fi s-sama’—————- الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ
