Signs for those who have actualized hearts

“In the creation of the heavens and the earth and in the differing of night and day there are signs for those who have actualized their hearts’ cores”
(Qur’an, Surat Al ‘Imran, 3:190)

Be Merciful

The Prophet (ﷺ) stated: “To those who are merciful, the Infinitely Merciful God is merciful. [So] be merciful to whomever [and whatever] is on the earth, then whoever is in heaven will be merciful to you” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi; this particular hadith is considered to be authentic.) Al-Rahimuna yarhamuhumu r-Rahman. Irhamu man fi l-‘ard, yarhamuhum man fi s-sama’—————- الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ

Turn your Face to the One God

“I have turned my face, in pure monotheism (hanifan) to the One Who has created the heavens and the earth; and I am not among those who affirm other gods.

The Rust Remover for hearts is Remembrance

The Prophet (pbuh) “For everything there is a burnisher (i.e., rust-remover): and the burnisher of hearts is remembering God! And nothing will save one from being afflicted with suffering by God except for remembering God!” They asked, “Not even jihad for God’s sake?” He said, “Even if one were to strike with one’s sword until it shattered!” (Transmitted from the Prophet (pbuh) by ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Amr and compiled by Bayhaqi and Ibn Abi Dunya.)

Establish a Connection with the Prophet

“God and the angels establish a felt connection with the Prophet. O you who take the step of faith, establish a felt connection with him (sallu ‘alayhi) and deeply surrender into peace (sallimu tasliman). (Qur’an Surat al-Ahzab 33:56)

Drink from a Spring

“The servants of God drink from a spring which they cause to gush, flowing abundantly” (Qur’an Surat al-Insan 76:6)

Devoted to the Lord Sustainer

“Be those who are devoted to the Lord-Sustainer!” (Qur’an, Surat Al ‘Imran, 3:80)
Al-Fadl b. al-‘Abbas stated, concerning the meaning of “Be those who are devoted to the Lord-Sustainer (kunu rabanniyina), that this means “Be like Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (radiyallahu ‘anhu) since when the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam) died, the inner cores (asrar) of the all of the companions became disturbed, except for Abu Bakr. In his inner core (sirr) there was no effect. Hence after the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam) died, Abu Bakr stated, “Whoever worships Muhammad should realize that Muhammad has indeed died! But whoever worships Allah should realize that Allah is living and does not die!” (Sulami, Haqa’iq al-tafsir)

I Answer the Call

“And if My servants ask you about Me, then [say], “I am nearby, I answer the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and put their faith in Me so that they may be guided rightly! (Qur’an, Surat al-Baqara 2:186)
