This is a spiritual prayer cleansing process to be done after isha prayer.  Start on a Thursday night when you won’t be traveling.

1. Pray two rakats with the following intention: “Oh Allah, please purify me.  Please purify my body, heart, soul, spirit, and intellect.
2. Then recite the following prayer 1,000 times preferably in Arabic:

Ya Allah,                                                        Oh Allah,

allahumma ‘ij ‘al fi badany nuran                    please Allah put light in my body

wa fi nafsi nuran                                             and light in my soul

was fi qalbi nuran                                           and light in my heart

wa fi ruhi nuran                                               and light in my spirit

wa fi ‘aql nuran                                                and light in my intellect

wa ‘ij ‘al min amaami nuran                             and put in front of me light

wa mim khalfi nuran                                        and behind me light

wa min fawqi nuran                                         and above me light

wa min tahat aqadaami nuran                         and underneath my feet light

wa ‘an yamini nuran                                        and light on my right side

wa ‘an yasari nuran                                        and light on my left side

3. Bring the spirit of the guide into your consciousness, and also the spirit of the               Prophet Muhammad (which brings in all the spirits of the prophets) and in this way       to enter into the Reality of Allah.  Then say “Ya Allah” 1,000 times.

4. Then recite al-fatihah once asking Allah to purify you from every blemish and to           use you to serve in the way of the Truth.

5. Repeat this process (2 rakats, 1,000 recitations and al-fatihah) on each of the next     2 consecutive nights.  Upon completing the process on the third night, promise           Allah that you will fulfill your walking in the way of the truth.

6. Repeat this 3 night process monthly.   By Allah’s permission you will purify your           body, heart, soul, spirit, and intellect and annihilate into the spirit of the guide, the         spirit of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), so there may be no barriers between you     and Him.

7.
