This healing brings happiness into your being and is a treatment for depression, anxiety, and sorrow.
Say each phrase 3 times:
- Wahid (while you clap your hands in front of your heart – feel yourself breaking illusion and false belief with each clap)
- Wadud (while swinging arms from one side of the torso to the other)
- La ilaha ilallah (move head to right, up, left and down)
- Samad (hands on heart for Sa part of Samad, then up and open for mad part of Samad)
- Allah (prostrate or bow if sitting)
- Say this prayer: Oh Allah! In Your Mercy I hope, so do not leave me to myself for a single instant and make all things well with me. There is no god but you.
Also, working with the Quality of Quddus helps with anxiety. Repeat “Ya Allah, Ya Quddus” 100 times when feeling anxious.
My son found this video on You Tube. It is a 2 hour video on what the Qur’an says about sadness and how to deal with it. It is a 90 minute lecture by Nouman Ali Khan followed by 30 minutes of Q & A. I found comfort in the message of this video. Here is the link to it. If the link stops working, please send me an email and let me know.
